This morning, Becca and I took a taxi to Café Britt and went on the coffee tour! It was 8,000 colones well-spent. :]

There were people on our tour from all over the world: Germany, Australia, the U.S., Mexico, Argentina, and Costa Rica. Our tour guides were great. The tour was given in a mixture of Spanglish, which was really fun.

We got to learn the whole coffee process, which takes three years to  initially get the plant growing! But after that, it can produce a crop once a year for up to 25 years.

Before the tour began, we got to try three different types of coffee and take pictures with these crazy things pictured above.

At the end of the tour, we ended up in the gift shop, where we got to try even more different types of coffee, as well as plenty of different chocolate covered nuts and coffee beans! Becca and I were pretty hyped up after spending an hour in the gift shop taking advantage of the free samples! :]
